A doctor with ties to Abbie’s institutionalized sister, Jenny - and to the seminal supernatural event from their childhood - makes contact with the Lieutenant shortly before jumping from a ledge and plunging to her death. When a closer examination of the corpse reveals some intriguing and markedly paranormal signs, Captain Irving assigns Mills and Crane to investigate. Despite Abbie’s reluctance to revisit the unexplained and still contentious event from her and Jenny’s past, Crane forges ahead, leading to a guilt-ridden Abbie’s revealing confession that could hold the key to Sleepy Hollow’s current wave of mystical activity or – at the very least – offer clues to stem the growing rash of suicides by people considered “witnesses” to the Mills sisters’ mystery. When their investigation reveals the presence of an ancient Native American dream-demon, Abbie and Crane set out to confront the malevolent spirit on his home turf, knowing full well that should they be killed in the dream world, it would have real world implications.

TVLine has learned that James Frain — one of TV’s go-to guys for playing off-putting, imperious individuals — will guest-star on multiple episodes of Fox’s freshman hit as Rutledge, a modern-day nobleman who will interrogate Ichabod, who is being passed off as a “visiting Oxford professor,” about his past.

What’s more, Rutledge harbors a secret that could affect Ichabod’s future.

Je suis tout à fait d’accord avec toi Carods, un superbe épisode.

Effets vraiment bien fichus, les flash-back sont parfait, et surtout pas trop long, donc vraiment apprécié pour comprendre l'histoire sans trop nous dérouter.

L'intrigue est bien fichue, les répliques drôles à souhaits, mdr et les personnages vraiment attachants et forment un bon duo.

Pas de minutes de lassitudes, les événements s’imbriquent superbement bien, moments calment et moments plus denses.

J'adore

J'attendais cette série avec impatience et je suis plus que comblé, j'attends la suite avec une belle impatience.

Série qui a un gros potentiel, belle découverte.

Je suis d'accord avec toi ! J'ai regardé l'épisode hier et j'ai vraiment aimé les effets spéciaux, l'histoire, les personnages. Hâte de voir comment ils vont tourner l'histoire sur 7 saisons 

J'avoue quand j'ai vu le teaser aux upfronts je voulais plutôt m'enfuir xD J'étais plutôt intrigués des bonnes audiences ( surtout mieux faire que son lead in qui est bones ... Reste à voir comment demain ils vont se débrouiller avec la concurrence qui fait sa retrée) et des retours critiques plutôt positive.

Et wow Je n'étais pas déçu Etant donné que je n’attendais rien de la série ... Elle fait son boulot en nous divertissant après ce n'est pas du grand art ( je vous rassure ce que je regarde d'habitude je ne me dis pas que c'est du grand art xD) mais assez pour être scotché à son écran et Il ne faut pas oublié que c'est le pilote ( un pilote plutôt bon et quand je vois par exemple les pilotes ratés de vampire diaries, ncis la où les faiblesses est corrigé sur tout le long de la saison ...). J'ai de bon espoir sur la qualité de la saison à venir ! Je suis à deux doigts de lâcher vampire diaries ( Les derniers spoilers me donne envie de fuir kevin revient pleeease) et je pense suivre Sleepy Hollow à la place !

Par contre je trouve il y a eu trop d'informations d'un coup dans le pilote. ^^

An unidentified boy is found unconscious by the woods’ edge, his veins blackened. During a brief period of consciousness, the boy – who is dressed in antiquated clothing – speaks in a language Crane recognizes as Middle English. When the EMT who revived the boy collapses exhibiting the same blackening of the veins, the CDC descends on Sleepy Hollow to contain what they fear may be the outbreak of an infectious and deadly disease. After speaking to the boy in his native tongue Crane concludes the lad is somehow linked to Roanoke, the first British colony in the New World, which mysteriously vanished over four hundred years ago. As doctors search for a medical cause and scientific cure for the growing epidemic, Crane and Mills follow the boy’s trail back into the woods in search for answers of an other-worldly nature.

Meanwhile, when Captain Irving calls in special investigators from the NYPD to help with the ongoing "serial killer" investigation, egos in the Sleepy Hollow Sheriff’s Department get ruffled, leading an already suspicious Detective Morales to take a closer look at Crane; and despite her cynical disposition, Abbie begins to reconcile the fact that she has a major role to play in the battle against evil in Sleepy Hollow, and seeks out the help of a higher power.
