V'là un article où Gary parle de cet accident d'il y a un mois On nous a dit pas trop blessé mais lui il dit qu'il est tout de même resté quelques jours à l’hôpital...

Bah tant pis, tant qu'il va bien c'est le principal

Merci pour l'article Louvie Le fait qu'il ne se souvient rien de l'accident, ce n'est pas spécialement anodin...et qu'il reste quelques jours à l'hôpital non plus j'espère juste qu'il ira mieux dans les temps à venir

Je crois que oui parce qu'il dit aussi qu'il saurait tenir sa basse pour faire un concert le 27 avril passé. Celui-là n'a pas été annulé et donc Gary Va mieux tout de même

the Lt. Dan Band busier than ever

Gary Sinise isn’t sure if there will be a ninth season of CBS’s “CSI: NY.” The Highland Park High School alum and former “Forrest Gump” and “Ransom” actor said the show is “on the bubble,” and he won’t learn its fate for another few weeks.

“If they want to do another season, I’m happy to do it,” Sinise said Friday over the phone from New York. “I enjoy doing the show. I hope it gets picked up. If not, it’s been a great eight years.”

If this is the end, Sinise likely won’t having any trouble finding ways to fill his time. He keeps busy with his military-focused charitable work, including The Wounded Warrior Project and his very own Gary Sinise Foundation, and the cover band he and Kimo Williams — whom he met at Steppenwolf Theatre — created in 2003 to perform for U.S. troops, Gary Sinise and the Lt. Dan Band.


The 57-year-old Sinise estimates the band plays 40-50 shows a year around the world. It books paid corporate gigs on occasion, but for the most part plays “morale-boosting” shows, as Sinise put it, for the military and benefit concerts to raise money for the troops. The band will do the latter Friday at Joe’s Bar: Proceeds from the show are bound for the United States Veterans Arts Program. On Saturday, the Lt. Dan Band will perform at Steppenwolf Theatre’s Gala 2012 as it does every year.

Sinise — who plays bass guitar — picks many of the songs on the band’s set list, which includes everything from Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin to Zac Brown Band and Evanescence. He admits the band members don’t rehearse all that much because of their busy schedules, but he feels they don’t need to because they play so many shows together.

“It’s taken on a life of its own,” Sinise said of the group. “… The band isn’t what I want to do for a living. I’m an actor. But I want to do my part to give back to the military.”

Comment savoir où et quand Gary joue avec son "band" car j'aimerai le voir, je vais en Californie l'année prochaine et compte bien profiter de ce voyage pour rencontrer THE acteur,si quelqu'un peut me répondre ce serait cool

Splash: ‘This may sound crazy, Detective Taylor, but you fought for me. You chased me all over Manhattan.’

Sinise: Dear god. Which one was that? ‘You fought for me.’ Well. I know it’s from ‘CSI: NY.’ Is it from an episode called ‘Manhattan Manhunt?’ I couldn’t tell you what I said after. What is it?

Splash: ‘That’s my job.’

Sinise: That’s pretty good. I remember that was a serial killer episode. You’re challenging me here.



‘Apollo 13’

Splash: ‘Roger that, Ken. Are the flowers blooming in Houston?’

Sinise: Uh … ‘That’s a negative, Jack? Or, Jim. Um … I do not have the measles.’

Splash: You got it!

Sinise: I did? OK. That’s one out of three so far.



‘The Stand’

Splash: ‘Patty Greer says you’ve been giving her trouble, she’s quite upset.’

Sinise: ‘You’ve been giving her trouble …’ Oh my god. I don’t know.

Splash: It’s from ‘The Stand.’

Sinise: ‘The Stand?!’ What do I say?

Splash: ‘Well, that makes two of us. Being hijacked by a bunch of government sons of b***** in space suits does that to me every time.’

Sinise: [Laughs hysterically] You’re challenging me. This is tough!



‘Of Mice and Men’

Splash: What comes before this line? ‘I am sleepin’, George.’

Sinise: ‘Go to sleep, Lennie.’

Splash: Yes!

Sinise: Is that what it is? I got two out of five. Pretty good.
