In exchange for a spot in the dorm room, she offers to show Caroline how to get answers from Dr. Maxfield (guest star Rick Cosnett). Bonnie is touched by Jeremy’s strength and determination to stand by her. Finally, Damon is stunned when he figures out the secret to Tessa’s plan.”

Tessa confit à Stefan son prochain mouvement, et ensuite se rend compte que Silas a réussi à la mettre dans sa poche. Une Katherine désespérée découvre une nouvelle et inattendue conséquence d'être redevenue humaine et se rend compte qu'elle a besoin d'un nouvel endroit pour rester. En échange d'une petite place dans la chambre du dortoir (à l’université), elle montre à Caroline comment obtenir des réponses de docteur Maxfield. Bonnie est touchée par la force et la determination de Jeremy pour être auprès d'elle. Finalement, Damon est abasourdi quand il comprend le secret du plan de Tessa.
