Fall TV Spoilers 2015: Exclusive Scoop On 43
THE VAMPIRE DIARIES
A series of brief three-year flash-forwards will lead to an overarching mystery in Season 7, while simultaneously revealing unexpected futures for Mystic Falls' finest. One such reveal is a new (yet familiar) man for Bonnie, which executive producer Julie Plec says "will make a lot of sense" (despite the relationship seemingly coming "out of nowhere"). In the present day, Lily (pictured) and her "family" of Heretics will paint the town (blood) red, forcing both Matt and Enzo to decide once and for all what kind of people they're "willing to be surrounded by." Following the losses of their lovers, albeit temporarily in one case, Damon and Alaric will find themselves "back on the bourbon wagon" with Bonnie tagging along as their "uninvited chaperone." And Caroline and Stefan's relationship will remain "one of the bigger surprises of the season," as she continues to weigh her feelings for him against her need to regain her sense of self.
BONUS SPOILER!: Expect a major curveball for Stefan and Caroline around Episode 6.

Question: I really want to know how Stefan will show his game to seduce Caroline on The Vampire Diaries! —Carmen
Ausiello: Good question, Carmen. So good, in fact, that we posed it to Paul Wesley and got this response: “He’s going to be sort of the same loving guy he’s been for the past six seasons — except when he was ripping people’s heads off. Man, Stefan’s killed a lot of people. Everyone on the show has. If you think about it, pretty much everybody on this show is a murder. Isn’t that wild?” Wesley’s tangent aside, it sounds like he’ll use the same tactics he did on Elena back in Season 1, but he’s definitely got his work cut out for him. “Caroline wants to be with Stefan, but she’s also trying to do the right thing by herself, taking the time to mourn her mother’s death so she can enter into this relationship with a clean state and a free mind. The heart wants what it wants when it wants it, so we’ll see moments where’s she’s struggling, wanting to say something but not knowing what to say.”

Vampire Diaries Season 7: Who Is Bonnie's New Man? Kat Graham Eliminates One Potential Suitor
By Andy Swift / September 21 2015, 8:38 AM PDT
Consider this a premonition: The Vampire Diaries‘ seventh season, premiering Oct. 8 at 8/7c on The CW, is going to be the Year of Bonnie Bennett.
VIDEOSVampire Diaries Season 7 Trailer: Steroline Gets Steamy as ‘Supernatural Terrorists’ Invade Mystic Falls
Not only is the show’s HWIC — that’s Head Witch in Charge — back from the ’90s and ready to go “full-throttle” on her enemies, but the unlucky-in-love character is also adding another notch to her bedpost.
“It really surprised me who they ended up putting Bonnie with, but I was super stoked,” Kat Graham tells TVLine of the big reveal, which she says happens via flash-forward in Episode 5. “It’s someone that everyone knows and loves, so it’s super fun.”
RELATEDVampire Diaries‘ Candice King Teases ‘Badass’ Caroline in Season 7, Talks ‘Funny’ Steroline Baby Theories
All Graham can confirm about her new on-screen love interest, much to my personal dismay, is that the man in question is not Matt Donovan.
“Matt’s a very nice guy, but I don’t know if the Bonnie that’s finally back — or the Bonnie that’s been hanging out with Damon Salvatore — is anything like the sweet Bonnie from Seasons 2 or 3 who would even be good for him,” Graham explains. “She gets involved in some crazy stuff, and even some dark stuff, this season. But I love that Matt is so beautifully human, and I like that they’ve always kept him human… even though Bonnie does something to him early on in the season that’s a little creepy and could go terribly awry. Other than that, they have a great relationship.”

No matter which Mystic Falls man she ends up with, though, it sounds like Bonnie can use all the allies she can get moving forward.
“There’s a lot of action happening this season,” she teases. “It’s very, very intense. I think the Elena situation put the characters in a very [desperate] position. … Bonnie’s not very sympathetic to a lot anymore because she lost Elena. She’s lost everyone but Caroline and her mom that she cared about, so she’s going into this season in a different mentality.”
All right, TVD fans, who do you want to see Bonnie with in Season 7? Drop a comment with your suitor of choice below.

Vampire Diaries‘ Steroline shippers need to know if Stefan and Caroline will be together in the future timeline. Thank you! –Mary Things are quite dire in the Oct. 8 premiere’s flash forwards, so romance isn’t really the priority. That said, Caroline and Stefan share plenty of screentime — and a few awkward, loaded silences — back in present day Mystic Falls.
Any positive Vampire Diaries spoilers you can give us on future Bonnie/Damon scenes? –Renee Would you consider Bonnie playing chaperon to the vampire and Alaric’s drunken European adventures “positive”? How about Damon calling her his best friend? (Somewhere, Alaric is crying into his booze.)
Did The Vampire Diaries cast young Giusepe? I saw this pic on Annie Wersching’s IG profile. The actor in the pic is John Charles Meyer, and he looks really a lot like Old Giusepe. –Marko A show rep confirms that Meyer – whose recent TV credits include Hawaii Five-0 and Mom – will be playing the Salvatore boys’ dad in flashbacks, in Episode 7.

Vampire Diaries #7.2 Description: “Never Let Me Go”
Vampire Diaries Sep 25, 2015 Craig Byrne, Editor-In-Chief 0 Never Let Me Go
The CW has released an episode description for the second installment of The Vampire Diaries Season 7.
The episode is called “Never Let Me Go.” Here’s how they describe it:
ONE STEP AHEAD – When an impulsive decision by Damon (Ian Somerhalder) threatens to unravel a carefully negotiated deal between Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Lily (guest star Annie Wersching), he has no choice but to make amends with his mother before things spiral further out of control. However, Lily remains one step ahead and carries out a harsh plan that hits Damon where it hurts most. Elsewhere, after returning to Whitmore Collage, Alaric (Matt Davis) turns to Bonnie (Kat Graham) for help with a mysterious and potentially dangerous artifact he has obtained, while Matt (Zach Roerig) is forced into making a risky life or death decision. Meanwhile, Caroline (Candice King), who finds herself a pawn in Lily and the heretics’ plan for retribution, uncovers a shocking detail about Stefan’s past. Michael Malarkey also stars. Vampire Diaries Mega Buzz: Don't Expect a Bonnie-Damon Hookup Soon by Sadie Gennis | Oct 2, 2015 10:34 AM EDT
Kat Graham and Ian Somerhalder, The Vampire Diaries Any fans hoping to see a romantic pairing between Damon and Bonnie on The Vampire Diaries shouldn't hold their breath.
Unable to see the love of his life until his best friend dies, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) is in quite the dark place when the CW drama returns - and unfortunately, he's taking it out on Bonnie (Kat Graham).
Bonnie stands by Damon, chaperoning his drunken European tour with Alaric and even brushing off Damon's jokes about her dying so he could see Elena. But when Damon nearly lets Bonnie get hit by a car, she realizes that their friendship might not be able to survive Damon's resentment.
Catch up on all this week's Mega Buzz
All that said, there may still be some hope. When they returns home to find the Heretics running the place, Damon must decide once and for all whether he can get over his bitterness and unite with Bonnie against this new threat. (And he totally has to, right?)

Random question, but will diaries still be a part of The Vampire Diaries this season? — Diane
Oh yes. A number of different characters will be jotting down the latest happenings in Mystic Falls so Elena can catch up once she wakes. Though, there’s a moment in the premiere that I’m sure Damon won’t include in his diary: He’s faced with an opportunity that could bring Elena back sooner rather than later and has a very interesting reaction to it.

Question: Any word on Matt’s supposed new love interest on The Vampire Diaries? — Clare Ausiello: First of all, Clare, I’m glad to hear you’re also invested in the romantic future of Mystic Falls’ lone human. That said, the show is currently casting the role of Penny, a “cute” but “formidable” young cop who isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty when it comes to the supernatural. (Sounds like a perfect match for Matty Blue, no?) Question: I need to know who that woman was hunting Stefan and Damon in Vampire Diaries‘ season premiere. Any intel? — Sasha Ausiello: You’re not alone, Sasha. We’re also dying to find out — so to speak — and this is probably a pretty big clue: The show is introducing a legendary vampire huntress named Hannah, who “literally cannot rest until her vengeance is complete.” Even if Hannah’s not the shadowy figure we saw in the premiere, I imagine her arrival is still going to be a major bummer for the Salvatores.

Michael Malarkey shares spoilers about Enzo's new love interest in The Vampire Diaries Season 7.
The CW
If you tuned into The Vampire Diaries Season 7 premiere, then chances are Enzo’s shocking betrayal at the end of the episode left you enraged. Not only did he knock our precious Care Bear unconscious, but he also kept popping up at inopportune moments to make super-snarky remarks. Rude much? Clearly the pressure of having to choose sides was too much for him to handle.
That said, before you head off to throw darts at the poor guy’s face, just know this: Enzo isn’t evil — not by a long shot. He’s just a complicated being, a bloodsucking creature who yearns for some companionship in this dark, dreary world. And according to what Michael Malarkey told us during a recent interview, along with his long-lost sense of humanity, he’s might just find the love he’s looking for.
Scroll on down for the exclusive scoop on Denzo, Bonenzo, and Enzo’s personal struggle with morality! (Oh, and there’s even mention of a questionable hickey and how it came to be….)
Alloy Entertainment: Let’s just begin this interview with a fairly simple question….Tell us everything there is to know about Enzo. Tell us all of his secrets. Michael Malarkey: Everything there is to know about Enzo? Okay, next question please! [Laughs]
Alloy Entertainment: We loved the premiere, but it was so weird not seeing Tyler and Jeremy in the mix. That said, Elena’s presence was definitely felt as promised. As Season 7 progresses, will this continue? Michael Malarkey: Her [relationship] with Damon has been the biggest love story on the show these past few years, and it would be almost offensive for the writers to go, ‘Alright, we’re done with that now. Damon will just hook up with someone else and move on.’ You know what I mean? If it’s done done, it kind of needs to ease its way out. And as far as Damon is concerned, this isn’t the same as breaking up with a girlfriend — this is a very different, high-stakes situation. So obviously, a chunk of the first half of the season will focus on how he’s dealing without Elena in his life.
Alloy Entertainment: What’s the biggest thing you miss about working with Nina Dobrev, aka your “queen bee” as you affectionately referred to her in a recent video? Michael Malarkey: I worked with her maybe once or twice. [Laughs] However, we became buddies and hung out more outside of work. She was actually one of the first people I met and started hanging with when I first moved to Atlanta, so my introduction to The Vampire Diaries had a lot to do with Nina. The show does go on, though, and we’re super stoked about the direction the new season is heading in; it’s dark and sexy, and I feel really positive that viewers are going to connect with the upcoming storylines.
Alloy Entertainment: Speaking of interesting storylines, there’s been a lot of talk in the fandom recently about “Bonenzo” — which, actually is a fun shipper name as opposed to some that sound like diseases. Are they the next great TVD romance? Will there be more interactions between Enzo and Bonnie? Michael Malarkey: [Laughs] There is a romance that happens between him and somebody in the flash-forward — I can’t say who — but sparks will fly. There’s a lot of chemistry there. Kat [Graham] and I have done some scenes together, and I really enjoy working with her. But I’ve come to learn that people will ship anybody and everybody. Believe it or not, I’m actually paired up with people from The Originals.
Alloy Entertainment: Say what? That’s a new one! Michael Malarkey: Yea. Leah Marie Pipes and I were at a convention recently, and saw some tweets from fans who said they shipped Cami with Enzo; we couldn’t stop laughing. I was like, ‘What is happening? How is this even possible? Our characters have never even met.’ There were even all these pages of fan fiction about Camenzo….Cenzo? Whatever their name is. [Laughs]
Alloy Entertainment: On that note, we were kind of disappointed in Enzo’s decision to side with Lily as opposed to the Salvatore brothers. Can you explain his reasoning behind this? Michael Malarkey: Well, as far as he’s concerned, he’s spent a lot of time being loyal to Damon and Caroline and sticking up for them. But, never have they done the same for him. Never have they shown the same loyalty in return. And I think that over the course of time, these small disappointments started adding up and he started asking himself, ‘I have invested so much in trying to be friends with these people. Why? Why do I even bother when I already have someone here by my side who promises me all these things, and seems to respect me?’ From the viewer’s perspective, Lily and the Heretics seem like bad guys — but Enzo doesn’t watch the show. He’s living in his own world and seeing things from his own point of view. And to him, he’s teamed up with the good guys — people who stick to their word.
Alloy Entertainment: Obviously Enzo has a connection to Lily. As for the Heretics? Not quite. He doesn’t know much about them, and they seem pretty wicked. However, is there one in particular you feel we should keep an eye on? Michael Malarkey: Well, Enzo is not a dumbass. He’s kind of a cunning guy, and he’ll eventually start to pick up on all these little clues and signs about who these people really are. He’s there for Lily — not for the Heretics, necessarily. Still, they are part of her family so he feels compelled to respect them and try to make peace. However, once he finds out more about them, he’ll certainly grow more suspicious of their motives.
Alloy Entertainment: We chatted with Ian Somerhalder last week, and he expressed his desire for more Denzo scenes. Will there be any coming up and, if so, in what context? Michael Malarkey: You know, it’s funny — in every single interview I’ve done, everybody wants more Denzo scenes. Ian wants more Denzo scenes. I want Denzo scenes. Why don’t we have any? What’s going on? We really need to create petition at this point. [Laughs] Speaking of the devil, though, we do have a Denzo moment coming up in the next episode I believe. It’s not necessarily a reunion of two good friends: Enzo has expressed his allegiance to Lily, and Damon is very much on the opposite side. There’s a bit of drama that occurs between them.
Alloy Entertainment: So about that story about Ian [Somerhalder] giving you a hickey…..Did it create any mock jealousy on set? Was everyone all, ‘That’s not fair. How do we get in on this awesome squad?’ Michael Malarkey: The other actors? [Laughs] No, no. I honestly didn’t even mean for it to become such a wild story. Basically we were at a convention and, you know, messing around — he bit my neck and it left a mark. Then, the next day, I was doing an interview at iHeartRadio, and all of a sudden, the interviewer interrupts me and goes, ‘Is that a hickey on your neck?’ [Laughs] I obviously had to explain it at that point because I was in Vegas and have a wife at home. And then it became this whole, big story — you know how it is. It’s such a weird life. There’s also this other picture of us — of Ian and myself — from when we traveled to Brussels. He’s kissing me on the cheek, yet it completely looks like he’s giving mouth to mouth. The angling is so random, and of course many people now include this in their Denzo tweets.
Alloy Entertainment: Denzo aside, what’s up with Carenzo? Not sure if you noticed, but for a handful of fans the line between reality and fiction blurred the instant Enzo vervained Caroline. They were like, ‘Way attack a pregnant woman, dude!’ We found it amusing, which leads us to this: Do you approach Carenzo scenes differently now that Candice King is pregnant? Michael Malarkey: Oh, not at all! I mean if it’s a physical scene, you just have to make sure everything’s safe and that they feel comfortable. As far as everything else goes, we’re all professionals on set, love our jobs and it’s business per usual.
Alloy Entertainment: You’re a parent yourself. Seeing as how this season is very much about family, what’s the best piece of advice you would pass along to Lily Salvatore about repairing her relationship with her sons? Michael Malarkey: Oh, man. This is a tough one because that situation seems like such a lost cause. But, I would tell her this: Please get them really expensive motorcycles for Christmas, and don’t make them have a step-dad who’s an asshole.
Alloy Entertainment: Hmm. Is this your convenient way of saying that Lily and Enzo will fall for each other? Michael Malarkey: Who’s your daddy? [Laughs] No, it will all become clear in the upcoming episodes, and I think you‘ll enjoy what happens next.
Alloy Entertainment: So far, one of our favorite teasers for TVD Season 7 is that Enzo will be showing off his music skills. Will he be singing at all — preferably a track off your EP that’s dropping on November 20th? Michael Malarkey: You will see Enzo playing the guitar next to a fire, all romantic-like. But he’s just tinkering on the guitar; he doesn’t sing. Although, there is a chance one of my songs will be featured in an episode further down the line.
Alloy Entertainment: Hopefully it’s “The Bells Still Ring.” We caught your performance at Webster Hall last year, and it sounded very fitting with everything that’s happening on TVD. Michael Malarkey: Why thank you, darling — that means a lot! We shall see.

I’m getting the impression that you’re a fan of Bonnie and Damon’s budding friendship on The Vampire Diaries, so I’ll throw you a little scoop: “They do a shot together in Episode 5,” Kat Graham tells us. So if they can’t be bed buddies, at least they can be drinking buddies!…? “They’re around each other so much this season that I think Bonnie is starting to get a lot of those Damon Salvatore qualities,” Graham adds, “especially his super-confrontational attitude.”

Vampire Diaries' Kat Graham Previews Phoenix Stone Twist, Bonnie's Future

The Vampire Diaries‘ hot new trio — Bonnie, Damon and Alaric — is hitting the road Thursday (The CW, 8/7c) in search of Lily’s elusive sixth heretic, and Kat Graham promises it won’t be long before the trip takes a delightfully bloody detour.
“This Oscar meeting takes a violent, crazy turn,” Graham tells TVLine. “A lot is happening in the beginning of the season as we go on these little missions. This one is all about the Phoenix Stone; we’re going to learn why it’s important, what it can do and how it’s connected to other things.”
It’s going to be a big episode for Bonnie and the boys, especially when it comes to advancing her friendship with Alaric.
“Bonnie will always be a compassionate person, and she obviously knows the kind of desperation that comes from losing someone you love,” Graham points out. “When Alaric opens up to her about what’s going on [with Jo], I think you’ll get to see a really cool side to their relationship.”
Of course, the “Bamon” friendship will also gain more momentum this week. Graham says it’s “great” that “he and Bonnie have this very fun, playful relationship” because, let’s face it, “Damon doesn’t really have many people.”
As for Bonnie’s upcoming flash-forward, Graham says fans won’t have to wait too much longer to find out what the future holds for her character — and that they should prepare themselves for a huge reveal.
“There’s going to be worldwide trend, I think,” Graham says. “The fans are going to be really shocked and happy and will get all sorts of feels. I’m excited for people to see that because it’s a big moment for the fans. When I read it, even I was like, ‘Oh, really?!'”
The Vampire Diaries' Kat Graham on Bonnie and Damon's "Violent" Hunt for Oscar
On Thursday's Vampire Diaries, Bonnie goes on a road trip with Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Alaric (Matt Davis) to track down Oscar (Tim Kang), the missing member of Lily's family. But according to star Kat Graham, Oscar won't be like the other Heretics. And, in a lucky turn of fate, Oscar also knows a few things about the Phoenix Stone, knowledge which could come in handy if Bonnie can stop Damon from killing him in time to hear what he has to say.
Check out everything Graham revealed about Oscar, what's next for Bonnie and Damon and more below: How do you think Bonnie has been changed by everything that happened last season? Kat Graham: I think she's definitely more weighted, but I also think she's somebody who feels that she has to protect herself and that she's kind of lost everything that she could have possibly lost. So I think that she now has, not necessarily a Wild West perspective, but she's a force to be reckoned with at this point. She's not scared of anyone. She'll do what she needs to do to get what she wants.
Do you think she has any regrets about killing Malcolm after the chain of events that it set off? Graham: No. Personally, I think Bonnie always wishes that the non-violent approach always wins. But Bonnie's also fought really, really hard to get back to Mystic Falls and get back alive, and she's not going to let some hybrids take over the town. I think that if killing a character means protecting the town and protecting innocent people, she'll do it. Which is a very different Bonnie. It's a more Damon-philosophized Bonnie. Damon won't think twice about it, and they've spent so much time together she also starts to have similar perspectives as Damon. "Let's just do it. Let's just get it down. Whatever it takes."
What's next for Bonnie and Damon's relationship? Graham: In the episode airing Thursday, Bonnie, Damon and Alaric head to Myrtle Beach and they go down to get more information. Damon has his reasons for going to Myrtle Beach. Alaric has his in terms of the Phoenix Stone. So you'll get to see their journey together and we have a lot of scenes together. It gets a little violent. Damon is out for blood now that Lily (Annie Wersching) has Elena's body. Will Bonnie try and rein him in a little or join him in the quest to kill Oscar? Graham: I can't reveal what Bonnie will do, but I will say that she's all about protecting that coffin as well and she doesn't want to let anything happen to it. So that's coming up in the next episode. We'll see how she deals with Lily and the history of that, which is really cool. What can we expect from Oscar? Is he different from the other Heretics? Graham: He is different from the other Heretics. I actually really like the character a lot. The actor that plays him has been doing a phenomenal job and he's very, very cool. Not what you expect at all, which is very cool when you open the door and you first see this Oscar character you're taken aback. And what Oscar says is even more surprising because there's a whole twist with this Oscar character as well that people are going to be a little thrown by. The Phoenix Stone seems key to everything that's happening this season. What can you reveal about what the visions Bonnie's been having might mean? Graham: Obviously there's a link between the visions and the Phoenix Stone. I can't say what happens with the Phoenix Stone, but it's definitely going to be very relevant in the upcoming episodes. So this is the initial introduction to what this stone is and learning about it and what it's going to do and the effect it's going to have on all the characters moving forward.
How will Bonnie react once she finds out Alaric didn't destroy the Phoenix Stone? Graham: I think that because they're so close if he's anything outside of honest, it's really going to affect their relationship. She's not very happy and Bonnie doesn't take that sh--. But we'll see if he mans up.
Matt (Zach Roerig) got rightfully upset at Bonnie when she nearly killed him last week. Will their friendship become at all strained going forward? Graham: I don't know if their relationship is going to be strained because everyone's almost killed Matt a few times. This is probably my first time almost killing him. Usually, I'm the one saving him. So I think I get a pass. But I will say that they do team up to uncover something else that is happening at the school later on. We still haven't seen Bonnie's flash-forward yet. What can we expect from that? Graham: It's really exciting, and you'll get to see a new love interest. It's in Episode 5. I'm really proud of that episode. It was directed by Kellie Cyrus. I can't give away too much. It's really cool. It's one of my favorite episodes of this season.

When are we going to find out the effects of the Phoenix Stone on The Vampire Diaries? — Ana Let’s just say that as of next week, Alaric is running out of time if he intends to use it on Jo. Here’s the thing about dead bodies: They don’t keep forever. So, Alaric is going to be faced with a big decision. In other words, we could find out sooner than you might think.
