Spartacus alum Cynthia Addai-Robinson has been tapped to play the DC Comics villain.

In the Arrow-verse, the formidable and enigmatic Amanda Waller works for A.R.G.U.S. — Advanced Research Group United Support — a clandestine agency that has a mysterious agenda and possesses key information about the Arrow. In the comics, Waller runs the Suicide Squad, which will be introduced in Season 2 as Deadshot (Michael Rowe) teams up with Bronze Tiger, who will be played by Michael Jai White.

Glee's Grant Gustin has landed the role of Flash alter ego Barry Allen, who will appear on Arrow before possibly heading up his own spin-off, TVGuide.com has learned.

In the world of Arrow, Barry is a Central City assistant police forensic investigator who arrives in Starling to look into a series of unexplained robberies that may have a connection to a tragedy in his past. A comic book fan boy, Barry is obsessed with the Arrow but unaware that working with Oliver and Felicity to solve the crime has brought him right into the dangerous world of the vigilante. 

Barry will first appear in Episodes 8 and 9 of the second season of Arrow before the backdoor pilot for the potential spin-off airs as Episode 20, all of which will be written by Arrow executive producers Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg as well as DC Entertainment's Geoff Johns. The first two episodes will bring Barry to Starling City, while the latter will be a bigger introduction into the world of Flash.

DC COMICS’ BRONZE TIGER AND CHINA WHITE WREAK HAVOC ON THE GLADES — Oliver (Stephen Amell) finds out the medicine that is being sent to Glades Memorial is being hijacked by thieves. Without an influx of supplies, the hospital will close. Roy (Colton Haynes) attempts to stop the thieves, but he fails and is arrested by Officer Lance (Paul Blackthorne). Oliver gets into a heated battle with China White (guest star Kelly Hu) and her new partner, Ben Turner, AKA the Bronze Tiger (guest star Michael Jai White), over the supplies. Meanwhile, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) makes plans to catch the Arrow, and Thea (Willa Holland) gives Roy an ultimatum. Nick Copus directed the episode written by Ben Sokolowski & Beth Schwartz (#202).
